Rebecca Schrag is a native Manhattanite who is fiercely loyal to the bluest part of this great blue state. She spent much of the summer and fall of 2004 attempting to spread blue-ness by phone banking to swing states and leading bus trips to Pennsylvania. By day, she works as a psychologist in one of Montefiore Hospital’s outpatient pediatric practices, where she does infant and toddler preventive mental health, and holds a faculty appointment at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. By night, when not seeing patients or championing progressive politics, she sings on Broadway. Actually, that part’s not true, but she does enjoy singing, and–albeit very, very rarely–someone other than friends and family members enjoys listening.
