Are you an ACTivist?

“This is my 14th presidential election, and I think it is the most important.”

- Mary Ellen Goodman, ACTivist

Since 2004, New Yorkers like Mary Ellen have been volunteering with ACT NOW to help win elections the old-fashioned way - by talking directly to voters!

This year, we face an historic campaign - one that has the potential to bring change to our government from Albany to the White House. Will you help us turn the tide?

On Thursday, August 28th at 7PM, we’ll be having a little well-deserved fun (and drink!) at our “Convention Watch and Pep Rally!” Won’t you join us to watch Barack Obama officially accept the Democratic nomination for President of the United States?

On Saturday, September 6th, we’re taking our first trip to Queens to help defeat conservative state Senator Serf Maltese and end 40 years of  Republican domination in the New York State Senate. We’re just two seats from a Democratic majority!

And if you can’t make it out to the canvass, you can join us on Thursday nights as we call targeted voters in Serf’s district, all from the convenience of our Manhattan phone banks.

Finally, don’t forget, we’ve got an important swing state just a couple hours away! We’ve been to our old stomping grounds of Pennsylvania twice this year to register Democratic voters and we are currently developing plans for future trips.

So, whether this is your first election or your 14th, it’s always a good time to get ACTive!
