Andrew Weinstein began the last presidential election cycle as a volunteer for the Howard Dean campaign in the fall of ‘03. When that ended with a thud, he stumbled across the nascent ACT New York in spring of ‘04 and became a Co-Director in July. He remained through the transitional year of ‘05, and was proud to be a founding Director of ACT NOW in early ‘06. Andrew was elected to one term on the Democratic County Committee in the mid-nineties, and has been a volunteer for numerous candidates and causes going back to the Gary Hart campaign. His full-time work is in the financial services industry. He is also a great admirer of Rebecca’s singing.
