Rebecca Schrag is a native Manhattanite who is fiercely loyal to the bluest part of this great blue state. She spent much of the summer and fall of 2004 attempting to spread blue-ness by phone banking to swing states and leading bus trips to Pennsylvania. By day, she works as a psychologist at Bellevue Hospital and the Administration for Children’s Services, performing mental health evaluations of children entering New York City’s foster care system. By night, when not seeing patients or championing progressive politics, she sings on Broadway. Actually, that part’s not true, but she does enjoy singing, and–albeit very, very rarely–someone other than friends and family members enjoys listening.
