Jordan, a Sophomore at NYU, has spent most of the past two years working as a field organizer to elect President Barack Obama. In the aftermath of President Obama’s election, Jordan has joined ACT NOW in addition to his work  with the NYU Students Organizing for America, the pilot student chapter of the national organization, for which he is the Campus Co-Coordinator. NYU SOFA strives to educate students on the importance of political engagement, and has planned numerous trainings throughout the semester in order to advance that goal. Currently Jordan is serving as Co-Director of Youth Operations for Organizing for America, and will spend the summer working with Marshall Ganz, Joy Cushman, and others to develop a plan to expand SOFA nationwide.
