Gene Hill |
Gene Hill’s roots in politics go back many generations. A descendent of New Mexico’s early governors (when Spain and Mexico ruled) and grandson of that state’s Democratic Party chairman from the FDR era, Gene acquired his earliest political experience serving on the student senate (and then as entertainment chairman) of the University of New Mexico. Since then he has worked with the Southwest Voter Registration Education Project and, more recently, has been involved in Tom Udall’s and Patricia Madrid’s congressional campaigns. A resident of New York City for over 12 years, Gene is currently a technology professional in the investment management industry and has participated in ACT NOW since the 2004 general election season. His primary focus is on the recruitment and activation of volunteers. |
