Chris Asta got into politics by becoming an obsessive political blog-reader. Like many fellow “bloggers”, this led him to Ned Lamont’s senate campaign, on which he worked as a volunteer coordinator during both the insurgent primary and subsequent general election efforts in 2006. It was during this time that he joined up with ACT NOW to work on various Congressional canvases and phone banks. When he manages to peel himself away from the internet, Chris occasionally gets some work done as a freelance video editor, and somewhat less occasionally plays with his two bands, Butchers and Bakers and Corduroy Days.
