Jack Stoller/Meema Spadola

In 2004, Meema Spadola and Jack Stoller got married.  Later that year they traveled to Fort Lauderdale to try to swing Florida for John Kerry.  At least something went right that year.  They joined ACT NOW afterward, going to Pennsylvania to defeat Social Security privatization, to Ohio to work for election reform initiatives, to Connecticut and Pennsylvania to try to flip Congress Democratic in 2006, and to Long Island in 2007 to work for a Democratic State Senate.  In 2007, their son Django was born.  As great as it was to work with such dedicated and fun people toward worthy goals, they’ve been focused on being parents for now. (On Election Day `08 then-15-month-old Django helped Jack greet voters in Ridgewood, Queens and even managed to charm greeters for Serph Maltese.) Rest assured, though, that Jack & Meema are already indoctrinating Django in the ways of ACT NOW (he’ll start sharing his toys any day now, really).
